Aspen will be in a closed period from 1 January 2025 until the publication of the Interim Results on the JSE SENS platform on 3 March 2025.
Aspen has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to our credo ‘Healthcare. We Care” through a wide range of initiatives and activities that span more than two decades.
This action was initiated as early as August 2003 when we launched one of the world’s first generic anti-retrovirals. This was in response to the global outcry for treatment for HIV/Aids, and soon thereafter, we also responded with pharmaceutical products to aid in treating patients afflicted with tuberculosis.
Since 2003, Aspen and our employees have continually engaged in a vast array of programmes that have, and continue to, contribute towards the improvement and upliftment of communities in more than 50 countries.
These programmes have been introduced to meet the needs of marginalised communities and individuals at all stages of life who require various assistance. Rural healthcare provision, nutritional aid, educational support, socio-economic relief and entrepreneurial skills development are some of the categories of support undertaken across multiple territories.
Sustainability and societal goals related to environmental awareness and action have also been adopted in key centres to stave off negative impacts on our natural resources. Particular emphasis has been placed on strategies and activities to review and manage our use and dependency on fossil fuels, water and resource management, as well as introducing mechanisms to mitigate excessive levels of pollution.
Aspen’s passion for underscoring our caring ethos has also been evident through our annual Mandela Day campaign, which, since 2011, has provided relief to nearly 900 000 beneficiaries in more than 40 countries.
